The Whitetop Mountain Band-July 11, 2009

A special Saturday Night dance featuring one of the best old-time music bands around. The Whitetop Mountain Band is well known for their high energy and charisma on stage. Their shows contain everything from fiddle/banjo instrumentals to powerful solos and harmony vocals on traditional bluegrass numbers, old timey ballads, originals, and four part mountain gospel songs.

Yes, We’re a Real Country Store!
As we approach our 100th anniversary the Floyd Country Store has become a real country store again. You can’t miss the barrels of old-fashioned candy at the front of the store and if you explore further you can find everything from hand-dipped ice cream to hard-wearing bib overalls.
