Feeling WelcomeKadance comes to visit her friends at the country store most Friday evenings. Like many of the youngsters who come to the jamboree, she likes to get out on the dance floor once in a while and she loves the warm attention she gets from the store regulars. There’s a place for everyone to have fun, including babies, great grandmas’ and visitors from all over the world.

A Gathering Place

The store provides a great meeting place for many activities in the community like the recent sell out concert by Ketch & Critter, a party for 120 people arranged as a benefit for Rainbow Lonestar and a series of knitting classes put on by Woolly Jumper Yarns. Consider renting one of our spaces for your next class or event.

Film Series

We’re now showing films at the store. Sustain Floyd is presenting a series of documentaries. The next film “Buck” will be on Saturday February 11. This is an account of the life of Buck Brannaman, the horseman whose story formed the bases for the film “The Horse Whisperer”. The film will be followed by a panel discussion about our relationship with animals. Doors open at 6:30 pm for a special valentine’s candy sale.

The Floyd Radio Show

The next Floyd Radio Show is this Saturday. Now with a loyal following so come early for a good seat! This month’s show will feature Chance McCoy, The Crooked Road Ramblers & Junk DNA with Carol Burch-Brown, Ann Kilkelly & Patrick Turner. Tickets on sale now!

We’ll look forward to seeing you soon!
