The Floyd Country Store is a heritage music venue, part of The Crooked Road, Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail. The music played at the store reflects the very special legacy of music that has thrived in South West Virginia.
We schedule three bands every Friday: a gospel group and two old time dance bands. The dance bands provide the right beat for our enthusiastic crowd of flat foot dancers and cloggers. On Saturday’s we have our Americana Afternoon starting at noon which features our local performers who play anything from the Blues to Bluegrass and beyond. And every Sunday afternoon starting at 2pm there is a traditional mountain music performance scheduled.
We also have frequent Saturday evening events, mostly Old Time dances and occasional sit down concerts.

On warm Friday evenings you will find a crowd of musicians around the store. Bring your instrument and join in the jamming!
