Tomatoes Tried to Kill Me, Banjos Saved My Life
December 15 @ 7:30 pm|
Join us at the Floyd Country Store on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 7:30 pm for a live performance of Tomatoes Tried to Kill Me, Banjos Saved My Life with Keith Alessi. The show will be followed by an Old Time Jam at 8:30 PM. Show and jam are free to the public, with donations supporting the Handmade Music School scholarships.
Keith Alessi brings his inspirational one man show to the Floyd Country Store: a story with music about life, battles & triumph! Much of Keith’s inspiration was drawn from experiences and musical community at the Floyd Country Store, and we are excited to bring his show to our stage.
“The best way to summarize Keith Alessi’s performance is a man taking you through the story of his life and he sucker punches you with these incredible insights and terrible stories or his experiences and then softens the blow with unbelievable banjo playing.” ~ Brieanna Fiander
“Alessi’s a soft-spoken sort with a friendly gaze, and his schtick is fundamentally wholesome and encouraging: the sort of person who should be marketing himself to millennials as the #BanjoDad. (#Relatable #Wholesome #ZellersJeans)” – Mooney on the River
“Keith Alessi’s well-structured one-man show about following your passion is honestly delivered with a certain folksy charm I didn’t expect to find in a former top executive.” – My Entertainment World
