The host band “Souvenirs” consists of David Cannaday (event coordinator & music instructor at the Floyd Country Store), Dave Fason (from the band Windfall), Rob Neukirch (musician & actor, recently in The House of Good & Evil), Rusty May (also from Windfall). They will be performing songs as well as backing up some wonderful guest singer/songwriters, including BigMama Joy (of Floyd), Ron Ireland (of Effna, VA), Britt Mistele (from David Simpkins and KGB Band), and John Wilson (of Floyd).

John Prine has been writing and performing classic Americana music since the early 70s. His songs have been widely recorded and performed by others. He is cited as one of the most influential songwriters of his generation, known for humorous lyrics about love, life, and current events, as well as serious songs of social commentary.

Plan on coming out to The Floyd Country Store and hearing some of your favorite Prine songs and even singing along! Tickets are $10 at the store or online.
