The Floyd Country Store’s Handmade Music School has partnered with Southern Mountain Melodies and is offering a Beginning/Intermediate workshop for fiddle, guitar, and banjo. This weekend intensive workshop will take place September 29 – October 2, 2016.
Learn to play Blue Ridge-style dance music in a place where dancing to old time music has naturally occurred for generations, Floyd County Virginia! Learn to play some of the tried and true mountain dance tunes in a rhythmic style that is full of tradition and excitement!
