About Adam McPeak & Mountain Thunder

Adam McPeak and Mountain Thunder

Adam McPeak, 17 year-old mandolin player, has headed up his own band since the age of 13 in 2009. He didn’t have to look beyond the blue ridge mountains of home for the sound he was searching for. The band includes a rich blend of harmonies from his dad, Mike McPeak, on rhythm guitar; Steve Chrisley, lending his deep rich barritone and picking the five string banjo; Marlon Dean, sawing out the fiddle breaks and playing twin and harmony fiddle with Nikki Wright, as she is putting out rich and powerful vocals on both lead and harmony; and David Chrisley, who holds them all together on the bass fiddle.
