The idea is that people can purchase a Pay It Forward coupon and leave it at the store for someone to use, or they can give it directly to anyone they wish. Feedback from the community is so positive for this initiative that other uses for the coupon have been suggested. It is great for kids to ensure they get food instead of treats, gifts for teachers, or even stocking stuffers.

One in six people in America are suffering at night and going to bed hungry, and one in five families live at or below the poverty line and Floyd is not excluded. The concept is an easy one; anyone can purchase a $5 Pay It Forward coupon, which will allow the recipient to choose from several different meals. A person in need of a meal can go to the counter and ask if there are any Pay It Forward coupons, no questions asked, and then choose which meal they want.
